Yeah Lot of guys are facing issues while updating the whatsapp in tablet. As we have not installed whatsapp from google paly, you can't update your whatsapp.

After the latest update my whatsapp wouldn't work anymore it told me to update it so i did! Which then brought me to the playstore page which often says this playstore version isn't available on ur device & saying go to the playstore & uninstall reinstall i tried doing that several times but still the same message im on a android galaxy tab 2 it also said that with the same version in 1mobile market that this version was incompatible with my device. After trying numerous numbers of times to get my app back i searched n searched for a tablet version i could maybe install reinstall to only be redirected back to the same newer version in playstore then come upon your web/link n then i tried to install it from here & to my success it worked!
